What Be Happenin' at the 2016 Pirate Festival

Ahoy Mateys! Join us for the 11th Annual Fort Myers Beach Pirate Festival. This year’s event will set sail Columbus Day Weekend, October 7th – 9th. Being named the #2 Pirate Festival in the Country by USA Today, this family-friendly event attracts thousands of people each year.


You can find the Pieces of Eight Pirate Shipped docked at the end of Old San Carlos next to the fountain. There is a whole line up of pirate cruises to suit the whole family. When the Pieces of Eight is docked it will be open for free tours of the ship.

Check out the pirate ship schedule for the weekend:

  • Friday Night ADULTS ONLY 5:00pm – Leaving from Salty Sam’s
  • Saturday AM Family Cruise 10:30am – Leaving from Nervous Nellies
  • Saturday PM Family Cruise 5:00pm – Leaving from Salty Sam’s
  • Saturday Night ADULTS ONLY 7:30pm – Leaving from Salty Sam’s
  • Sunday AM Family Cruise 10:30am – Leaving from Nervous Nellies

Each cruise lasts for 90 minutes. The adult’s only cruise is $20 per person. The family cruise is $25 for children and $30 for adults. The cruises offer a full pirate crew, bathrooms and plenty of room for fun and games. The family friendly cruise offers face painting, pirate games, dancing and more. For the adults only cruise there will also be games and dancing accompanied by a fully stocked bar.
